THE COMPANY

Alma Mexicana, danza folklórica, meaning Mexican Soul, is a group that presents traditional Mexican dances. Based in Atlanta area, this group has been performing for the last fourteen years for different audiences. The group performs dances from different and important regions of Mexico.

THE DIRECTOR

Hilda Estrella de Lev completed her professional dance studies at Monterrey Superior School of Music and Dance - a part of the Mexico National Institute of Fine Arts. Hilda has been performing for over 32 years and teaching dance for 27 years. Hilda founded Alma Mexicana, danza folklórica in Atlanta in 2008.
